Berwick's premiere boutique school for performing arts

We offer specialist dance training with industry leaders, and a curriculum designed to forge refined, versatile and professional young performers.

Our Principal Karlie Grace has spent a decade refining KGD’s unique hands-on approach to dance tuition, personally guiding and nurturing students through their dance journeys, from first days to graduations and beyond! Alongside her team of dedicated and highly qualified teachers, your child will thrive in our unique pathways program, which establishes strength and elegance using Cecchetti ballet methods as a vital foundation. From here, our diverse course options means there is a style for everyone and every level, with the chance to perform on stage, at exams and events, and achieve government-accredited industry qualifications.

Karlie Grace Johnson is an industry veteran who has achieved global success in the world of dance, and now dedicates her knowledge and experiences to providing opportunities, connections, advice and support to the next generation of performers.

Encouraging students to find their inner grace and achieve excellence by creating dancers who are technical, versatile, and ready for the performing arts industry in an inviting atmosphere.

Our teachers are committed to providing a place where your child can feel safe, inspired and celebrated. We strive to deliver a curriculum that will allow us to maintain our reputation of being a dance school of excellence and professionalism

All students are nurtured and guided to find their ‘inner grace’ as they learn to respect the attributes of remaining humble, respectful, well-mannered, gracious and courteous, all while upholding the values of our motto: ‘Aspire, Accelerate, Achieve’

My daughter has the spark back in her dancing again. Madison is loving Karlie, as she explains all the dance style techniques in a fun and understandable way. Karlie is a great communicator and keeps parents well informed she is a pleasure to deal with
