Program Overview
The ELEVATE level marks the beginning of Senior School training, supporting students as they continue to build strength, technique and versatility across multiple dance styles. At this stage, students are encouraged to take greater ownership of their training while progressing through advanced Ballet and performance pathways.

Dance Styles & Training
Students at the ELEVATE level have access to the same dance genres as the previous level, including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Encore (Musical Theatre). Contemporary and Lyrical classes are also offered, with students required to study a core technique class in Ballet and/or Jazz to meet the technical requirements of these genres.

Classical Ballet Training
More dedicated Ballet students training within our Elite stream will continue to undertake two Ballet classes per week — a general Ballet class and a Grade 5 Cecchetti Exam class — to ensure appropriate preparation for their Ballet examination, typically held in August/September.

Students are also encouraged to participate in the Grade 6 Ballet Exam class at no additional cost. While the exam is not sat, this advanced class supports higher-level technical development and accelerated progress across all dance genres.
Once students demonstrate sufficient strength, alignment and readiness, they may be invited to participate in Pre-Pointe classes — an exciting milestone in a ballerina’s training journey.

Elite Competition Pathway
Elite Competition Team students train in an additional 60-minute class per week. Throughout the year, students learn three routines which are performed at two major competitions. Two routines are also showcased at the end-of-year performance in December.
All ELEVATE students are celebrated at the Presentation Evening in December as they graduate into the FINESSE level and receive their certificate and medal. Elite Competition Team and Ballet Exam students are further acknowledged for their commitment to additional training and performance achievements.

Additional Opportunities
As the year progresses, ELEVATE students may access a range of extended opportunities, including an in-house Student Choreography Competition, participation in our Summer Intensive in January with industry-renowned teachers, involvement in school social events, and attendance at external events such as Cecchetti Ballet Australia awards days.
Please note: Entry-level beginner students aged 11 may be required to commence in the ELEGANCE level before entering the ACCELERATE or ELEVATE levels, depending on experience and class selection, to ensure a strong foundation in basic technique.
