Where Your Child Discovers the Magic of Dance
Imagine your little one stepping into our magical studio — twirling like a fairy beneath a rainbow, pony-cantering across the floor, or dancing like a ballerina until their heart is completely full.

Watch them take the stage at our annual Showcase, dressed in gorgeous costumes and shining under theatrical lighting, themed backdrops and special effects, while family and friends cheer with excitement.

Enrolments are now open for our KGD KIDZ program, where children awaken their love of movement, imagination and dance — nurturing confidence, creativity and joy from the very beginning.

Baby Ballerinas & Baby Boppers

This combination class introduces children to both Ballet and Jazz in a fun, imaginative and engaging way.
Baby Ballerinas
The Baby Ballerinas portion of the class gently introduces children to the magical world of Classical Ballet. Through fantasy, imagery and make-believe, students begin learning the foundations of ballet technique and basic terminology while building confidence and body awareness.

Classes incorporate:
-
Gentle warm-ups using teddies and props
-
Posture and alignment through imaginative role-play
-
Pre-Ballet barre exercises including pliés, tendus and rises
-
Learning the basic ballet foot positions
-
Locomotor movement such as walking on demi-pointe, skipping and galloping
-
Creative movement and guided free dance at the end of class
All exercises are carefully designed to keep children engaged while laying strong foundations for future ballet training.
Baby Boppers

After a short break, students change into Jazz shoes and enjoy the energetic Baby Boppers section of the class.
This section introduces the lively, upbeat style of Jazz dance, helping children understand the difference between Ballet and Jazz through:
-
Parallel foot positions
-
Sharper, punchier movements
-
Body isolations and coordination exercises
-
Hopping, jumping and skipping motor skills
Props such as pom-poms, shakers, hula hoops and balance beams are used to create exciting obstacle courses that challenge coordination, focus and confidence — all while having fun.
Baby Beatz (Tap)
Baby Beatz is an optional add-on class to the Baby Ballerinas & Baby Boppers program.
This short but impactful class focuses on developing musicality, rhythm and coordination through an introduction to Tap dance. Children learn the three basic parts of the foot — toe, ball and heel — while exploring rhythm in a playful, imaginative way.
Through games such as:
-
Squashing bugs with heel drops
-
Walking through puddles on tip-toes
-
Getting stuck to the floor with sticky lollies
students build confidence, timing and coordination, setting a wonderful foundation for future Tap classes and Ballet assessments in later levels.
Baby Ballerinas

This introductory class is designed especially for our youngest dancers, offering a shorter class length that perfectly suits developing attention spans.
Parents or carers are welcome to remain in the studio to support participation and confidence.
Classes focus on:
-
Creative movement and coordination
-
Basic rhythmic exercises
-
Exploring levels in space (high, low, in front, behind)
-
Shape and spatial awareness using sparkly fabrics and parachutes
-
Sharing, taking turns and following direction
Through magical imagery — pony cantering under rainbows, galloping on seahorses beneath ocean waves — children develop a joyful connection to movement while building the foundations for progression into our 3–4 year old preschool classes.
